Context: In the building of Christ’s church (Mat. 16:18) we now come to Saul’s, now Paul’s, first missionary journey, and as recorded by Luke his first sermon given at Pisidian Antioch. Paul’s audience, although at the synagogue, is shown to be a mix of Jew and Gentile (13:16, 26, 43). For this reason the sermon structure and method of presentation are very instructive.
